Hand-dyed Colors

Undyed wool is the natural cream color of sheep's wool.Ā Our hand-dyed wool items are dyed with love by a local company,Ā Fusion Threads Collective.Ā  Because each piece is dyed by hand, colors may vary from the items pictured here.

Emerald Green:Ā  This is a gorgeous blue-green color reminiscent of a pine forest in winter.

Golden Pecan:Ā  An autumnal shade of golden-brown, Golden Pecan is a mottled color that evokes memories of leaf piles and pecan pie.

Midnight Blue:Ā  A classic dark blue that goes with anything in a baby boy or girl's wardrobe.

Nutmeg Taupe:Ā  This gorgeous neutral color is the tan-gray of fresh-ground nutmeg or cardamom.

Iridescent Blue:Ā  A stunning color that changes from blue to purple depending on the light.Ā  The wool is light blue with red fuzzies, giving it an iridescent sheen reminiscent of peacock ore, dragonfly wings, or a mermaid's tail!

Desert Sunset:Ā  This peachy color invokes the rose-gold hue of desert sand at sunset.Ā  A gender-neutral color for baby boys or girls!Ā

Wool Care

Click Here for detailed washing and lanolizing instructions.

Basics of wool care:

  • The diaper must be lanolized (washed with lanolin) 2-3 times before use (pants only need to be washed once before first use)
  • Use high-quality solid lanolin
  • Use about a teaspoon
  • Soak overnight
  • Repeat until the diaper is leak-proof

Don't be intimidated by wool care! Once properly lanolized, care is simple:

  • Wool only needs immediate washing when soiled with poop (wash by hand)
  • For pee, hang wool to dry overnight without washing for up to four weeks
  • Yes, you read that right--you only need to wash wool once a month!
  • Then, lanolize again
Sizing

Diapers in size 6-24 months have limited adjustability. They will fit many babies approximately 15-30 pounds, but tend to run small.

Please refer to the charts below for diapers sized 0-36 months and 2T/4T and to determine which size pants you should order.
