TOO WIDE Chappy-Nappies: A few of our Chappy-Nappies arrived labeled as 6 months wide. They are the correct length for this size, but they are too wide. They fit around the waist like size 9 months wide. They are perfect in every other way. Refer to the sizing chart below to see if these chaps will fit your baby.

Sizing Information

Diaper covers in size 6-24 months will fit many babies starting around 4-6 months until about 18-24 months, but they do run small. If your baby is in the upper percentiles, both Infant-to-Toddler and Big Kid sizes are larger. See size chart for more info.

Care

Wool covers must be lanolized (washed with lanolin) before use to make them water-repellant. Wool only needs immediate washing when soiled with poop. Otherwise, hang wool to dry overnight without washing for up to four weeks. Then, lanolize again. Click Here for detailed washing and lanolizing instructions.

Materials

Diaper Covers: 91% Merino wool, 9% cotton, exclusive of elastic. Cotton is used to stabilize snaps.

Chappy-Nappies: 95% Merino wool, 5% cotton. Cotton is used to stabilize the snaps.

Hand-dyed colors

Our hand-dyed wool items are dyed with love by a local company, Fusion Threads Collective. Because each piece is dyed by hand, colors may vary from the items pictured here.
