Merino Wool Chappy-Nappy Pants

I received these in the nutmeg taupe color way and they are stunning. My baby wears them every day and they go with her whole wardrobe! They work so well, right now we are mostly using prefolds because I waited to order the pads. I have found it very helpful to tuck the prefold under the pants waistband to protect the wool. I’m really excited for the pads to come because then the whole system will be even more convenient though! Great product, I would love to see more clothing available for sale in this amazing fabric.

These are high quality and look great on. However, they are designed so that you need to put the diaper over the pants (I do not use Flappy Nappy Diapers due to costs, just normal prefolds with covers)...meaning that if your baby poops and the poop goes up their back, now your pants have poop on them. Makes it frustrating when you are struggling to catch poops due to potty regression. I've tried putting the diaper under the pants, and its possible to remove it and put it back on, but really quite difficult (especially for large hands) and puts strain on the material, and when doing it 15 times a day for EC, its just unmanageable. I do not know why they do not have a front closure so you can open them up (they are pull-on). Had I known this, I would not have spent $40.00 on them. :(

Living in Norway, cold weather is a huge obstacle for doing ec. But not any more! The chappy Nappies and flappy Nappies in wool make pottytunities super easy! The diaper fits well over babys bottom, the inner puoch of the diaper cover holds the soaker in place. The trousers keeps babys legs warm and make diaper changes easy and comfotable. The system with the belt and buttons works really well. And the outfit looks really cute as well, this is what you need if you want to do ec while looking smart and like you know what you are doing.
