This product, to my knowledge is the best for elimination communication. I will say it’s for commited parents. I would not recommend this product until you are successfully catching most poops in the toilet.
I love the idea, and I wanted to love these so much! Unfortunately I think they will work best for another type of baby. My baby is a mover and groover and into everything 24/7. These diapers while a great theory, slip down and shift relatively easy due to them needing to be attached to the waist band. The fabric is soft the band seems comfortable, however in all reality must work best for a really committed EC family and I am like a 50% EC momma who does not catch every pee or the occasional random poo. For us these leak especially because my son is a super soaker, layering multiple boosters makes the diaper gape at the front and back and then takes the ease of it away unless we are staying at home and I don’t care what he looks like outfit wise. Unless baby’s poops are 100% solid these are unfortunately also not blowout proof.
I will try using them again as my baby gets older and hopefully at some point they will work how I wished they worked now!
In my opinion these will be best for an older baby, solid poos, really committed EC family (so then the inserts aren’t bulky), and less of a crazy moving baby!
Fast shipping, nice packaging, nice material and wash clean great!
*6 month baby
I have recently started doing full-time EC with my 14-month-old after doing lazy EC for a long while. I was really excited for these cause it was getting harder to keep my little one still for diaper changes lying down. I wanted easy access for potty time. She is pretty slim for her age and so I got the 6-24 months and the belt fits fine with plenty of room to grow but the cover is quite small. Putting any sort of absorbency in it makes it so snug and gappy when I attach it to the belt. Her little butt crack is showing. I can't even use the adapters I bought because it makes it too bulky to attach the cover. Mind you I am not using super thick absorbency or anything. I'm really disappointed. I know I could try the 2T size but I don't want to spend more money and it still be not ideal for us. I would say this might be better suited for a baby who is wearing size 3 diaper or smaller. It isn't a complete loss. I was able to attach my cloth diaper covers to the front snaps and use it like the flappy nappy. But this way I have plenty of room for absorbency and proper coverage.
